Takeoff software for window & door manufacturers

Quote every RFQ that comes in, not just the ones you have time for.

An RFQ arrives with a forty-page plan set and a due date. Someone on your team opens the PDFs, finds the window schedule, cross-checks it against the elevations, counts the marks, and types every unit into a spreadsheet before pricing can even start. That work is the bottleneck between you and the bid.

One to Many reads the plan set for you. It detects every window and door — type, size, operation, glazing — and turns the drawings into a unit-by-unit schedule you review, price with your own catalog, and send.

The problem

  • RFQs die in the queue. Takeoff capacity caps how many requests you can answer. The bids you never get to are revenue that goes to whoever answered first.
  • Manual counts reach the shop floor. A missed mark or a mis-read operation symbol becomes a wrong unit in production. Catching it at review costs minutes; catching it at install costs a remake.
  • Every revision restarts the count. Rev C arrives and the takeoff you finished yesterday is stale. Re-counting by hand means re-introducing every manual error mode.

How One to Many handles it

  1. Upload the plan set. Floor plans, elevations, and the window schedule, as PDFs. Revisions included.
  2. Review the detected units. Every window and door marked, sized, and typed. Anything ambiguous is flagged, not guessed — you resolve it before it becomes a number.
  3. Apply your catalog and pricing. Your product lines, your margins, your rules. The schedule becomes a quote in your format.
  4. Send the bid while the job is warm. A schedule that survives the shop floor, delivered while the builder is still deciding.

Who this is for

  • Manufacturers who quote from builders’ or architects’ plan sets.
  • Shops where takeoff capacity — not production capacity — limits how many bids go out.
  • Teams with a product catalog and pricing rules they want applied consistently.

When One to Many is not the right fit

  • You don’t quote from plan sets. If your orders arrive pre-configured, there is nothing here to detect.
  • You need quantities for other trades — concrete, drywall, flooring. One to Many only does windows and doors.
  • You’re looking to replace your estimating or ERP system. This feeds those tools; it doesn’t replace them.
